Ian Kevin Mitchell, August 22, 1958, at Downpatrick Hospital. (Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland)
He is an Irish American guitarist who is best known for having joined the Bay City Rollers in 1976 at age 17.
He has also performed with the groups Young City Stars, Rosetta Stone and The Ian Mitchell Band.
He became a naturalized citizen of the United States on March 25, 2005.
Currently, Mitchell owns an entertainment company in Orange County, California with his wife, Wendy-Ann Antanaitis, and performs with Ian Mitchell's Bay City Rollers or The Bay City Rollers (featuring Ian Mitchell).
